American Red Wagon Museum
Our philosophy
The American Red Wagon Museum will be a Children’s History Museum, which will tell the last hundred years of American history, through the eyes of a child, pulling a little red wagon, through historically significant events in American history and world events. The museum will also document the history and development of the little red wagon, and how it shaped the idea of play and its impact on the American toy market, by displaying the largest privately owned Radio Flyer Wagon Collection in the world. The museum will also be inactive and community-based location, focusing on American history and industrial development from a kid's perspective. It will also focus on hands-on learning in metalwork, painting and art in an after-school trade school program setting. The museum will serve as both an educational history hub and workforce development pipeline for the next generation of creative talent.
The American Red Wagon Museum is a privately owned, not-for-profit, educational organizational company. The American Red Wagon Museum is not owned, operated, associated with, endorsed by, funded by or sponsored by Radio Flyer, the company that makes the world recognized Radio Flyer red wagons. The Radio Flyer name, logos, images and the red wagon itself are copyrights, trademarks and trade names of the Radio Flyer Corporation.
